Simula is a devised theater performance in the Main Stage of Cultural Center of the Philippines based from the narratives of the six candidates for Bachelors of Arts in Theater. Integrated with the poetries written by Venerable Master Hsing Yun in his book 365 Days for Traveler, the story revolves in the struggles and dreams of the six young ladies who chose to travel the road of Dharma and lighten each other’s steps in times of darkness. The performance shown not only their individual journey but also the aspiration of the whole Guang Ming family for a much better future for the youth.
